Alexander Alekseev

Alexander Alekseev graduated from Southern Federal University in 2013 (with honours). Qualification — linguist, translator (English, German) . He was a postgraduate student at Southern Federal University (2013-2016), then he defended his PhD thesis and joined English Language Department No. 6 at MGIMO University in 2017. The subject areas include media communication, sociolinguistics, translation, lexicography, country studies, language corpus.

The collection and analysis of practical material as part of the management of a scientific project was carried out at the University of Regensburg (Germany), as well as in the libraries of Munich, Bonn and Cologne as part of a research internship of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD. Work on the linguistic corpus.
