Hello!
My name is Igor Alferov and I have been working in IT for almost 20 years in various roles.
Most of my experience is the path from a manual tester at CBOSS (telecommunication company) during my last year at Moscow State Technical University to the position of Head of QA at the biotech startup - Igloo, which created a compact analyzer for medical rapid tests from scratch.
I spent the most significant period of my career in QA at the Deutsche Bank technology center in Moscow, where I managed to achieve a significant improvement in the state of automation of project testing in the software development department for currency and exchange trading. In short, I developed and implemented an approach based on a framework that implements the BDD approach with cucumber and allows, on the one hand, to significantly (from 2 weeks to 3 days) reduce the time for testing a new version of a component before release, and on the other hand, led to a multiple increase the number of automators on the project.
At Igloo, I built the entire quality control system from scratch. The process itself, principles and approach to quality control of a complex multi-component product (hardware, firmware, applications and services) were built. Over the years, the product has improved many of its main features. Also we have automated tests at all levels and integrate all test results with Allure TestOps and testers began to write test cases before implementing the requirements.
At some point in the company there was a need to build processes outside of my duties and the management entrusted me with the position of Product Director. But, unfortunately, in the light of certain events that took place in the spring, the company was forced to close due to the decision of a foreign investor.
At the moment I am looking for an opportunity to apply my knowledge and experience in the field of testing and quality control - especially related to building processes, implementing automation and increasing efficiency. I am also interested in vacancies that go beyond this framework and are related to the complex building of effective interaction between business and the implementation of IT solutions in the form of development and testing teams.
