The right time is now

Hello friends, long time no see. I've been a part of the IT project for a few months. Had some thinking time. Often people say that "If I was born in a different time, life would be different." Well for sure. It would be different and you wouldn't have such a wide knowledge as well and you wouldn't know about the future.

While going through some great autobiographies of famous people I understood that life was always about the same. Situations were about the same. People were about the same. Life was very much the same.

Yes, some things seem totally inappropriate in our times, that were just fine back in the days. And I'm sure that some stuff that we are totally ok with today will be inappropriate in the future.

I consider thinking that "If only I was born in a different time" - is an excuse. I know it because I used to say so myself. It prevents us from moving on, towards the brighter day.

I know for sure that however cold the winter time was, there was always a spring after it. Always. Tough times come in and rush through our lives. We grow and improve. Some fall and leave lessons for others. Life is about growth. And usually what we face is something that we can handle. No matter how tough it is.

I love gaining wisdom. Step by step, once at a time. Understanding some simple principles takes a long time. Knowing is one thing. Understanding is totally different.

And the key is to understand. When I look at our life from my current perspective, I know that the right time to live is now. For all of us. We all can do something amazing. We all can create. We are all together in it. Compassion is something to be practiced on a daily basis. It will help a lot. And there are many great examples around us. We only need to dig deeper to find that wisdom.
